<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>The project focuses on the development of three training curricula, using STEM methodology for the needs of Primary school teachers and learners.<\/p>\n
The main goal on the development of all Training Activities (curricula) is to create a new generation of young people who, using data from all the sciences, in combination with peer collaboration, will gain the ability to solve problems and actively participate in the future digital world that is being formed in a very fast pace. It is expected that at least 100 schools in total from Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Cyprus will participate in these educational curricula. Moreover, up to 200 teachers from these 4 participating countries will be trained during project implementation.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>1st<\/sup> Training Activity: \u201cIntroduction in Basic Machinery\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>This educational and training curriculum is specifically designed for students in the first two grades of primary school. The main concept is to initiate students in the world of engines, how they work, their history and what did humans tried to achieve by building them. The curriculum will demonstrate tools that human beings were using for harvesting, building and transport like screws, wheels, hummers, etc.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
2nd<\/sup> Training Activity: \u201cIntroduction in Complex Electrical Machines\u201d <\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>This educational and training curriculum is specifically designed for students in the 3rd and 4th grade of primary school. The main concept is for teachers and trainers to be able to educate students into more complex machines and how the proper development and usage of a machine can be the solution for a series of problems. This educational curriculum focuses more deeply on the sources of energy, electric drive and how the energy from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) is transforming into motion. Students will be able to understand the use of electrical circuits, polarity, sensors and programming.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
3rd<\/sup> Training Activity: \u201cIntroduction to Educational Robotics\u201d <\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>The target group of this curriculum are the students of the 5th and 6th grade of primary school. The main concept is the capacity building of teachers and trainers in the use of robotics and automation. Teachers will be trained on programming like \u201cScratch\u201d in order to make sciences as Mechanics, Physics and Mathematics more fun and entertaining for students. That way, automation and robotics become familiar to students that will enable them to develop new skills in gaming, animation and other relevant sectors.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
4th<\/sup> Project Result: Evaluation and Qualification of the Educational Material <\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>Since the beginning of the project and during the formulation and implementation of the curriculum, the project consortium will prepare all the relevant documents for running the evaluation of the 3 project results while it will begin pilot evaluation among the project partners and during the pilot implementation of the curricula. The evaluation material will be available for everyone that has access to the curriculum in order for every interested stakeholder to be able to qualify the results and the progress of the implementation of each curriculum. The target groups of this activity are teachers and learners that will be trained on the curricula. Teachers and trainers will be qualified through the educational curricula by the project team who will provide a certification upon successful implementation. In this framework, teachers and trainers that will train students from their schools, will be able to evaluate their results and provide also feedback to the project consortium in order to update the training material if necessary.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
